The story of my lifelong dream as it happens by Ivan Lees. The whole shooting match was transported to my workshop on two trailers, a car transporter trailer carried the rolling chassis and a small trailer carrying the engine on an engine stand. Because of the restricted space in the workshop I had to remove the front and rear body sections to give me a reasonable amount of working room. This site is currently under construction. Thursday, 22 February 2018. Rear firewall supports and central tunnel. On the weekend I found some time to work on the GT40. My mate Raj came over to give me a hand. He is the man who originally found the car for me back in 2011 and it was great to catch up with him.
